I submitted the letter box landscape one.
It was a rainny sunday.
We went for lunch at Joo Chiat.
Ate the Fei Fei Won Ton Mee.
Juz as we were about to walk back, it started to rain heavily again.
Sigh...
Took a cab back to the cc.
Sat down and watch the slide show of the entries.
Guess who the judges were???
1. John Cosgove
2. Some founding member of the Nature Photographic Soc!!!!
3. I dunno who.
With one nature photographer as judge, 4 out of the 10 selected prints were flowers.
My friends and i see no link to Geylang Serai wif flowers.
Having landscapes and humans as sleceted ones i dun mind, but flowers???
Trying my luck at Tampines next... ...

Driving numéro 6
Did my first parallel parking.
Legs very tired.
Neck tired from turning back and forth.
Knocked down 2 poles.
One in front and 1 at the back.
Rather difficult to start.
After a few turns, kinda get used to it.
But still have to know how much of the steering wheel to turn.
Moving in:
1. Full lock on the left, reverse.
2. Straighten wheel.
3. Ful lock to the right.
4. Straighten wheel.
5. Move forward a bit.
Moving out:
1. Move forward somemore.
2. One round to the left, reverse.
3. Forward, full lock to the right.
4. Move out slowly and look out for traffic.
5. Straighten and move out somemore.
6. Full lock to the left and move onto the main road.
7. Resume straight ahead.
Did this for quite a number of times and the 1 1/2 hr session passed rather fast.
The instructor says that learning parking is good for road judgement on how muvch to turn the steering wheel when moving on the road.
Have to perfect this before I can learn the perpendicular parking.
Driving number 7 coming soon.
to be continued...

Wanna watch movies...
Saw the advertisment for this movie yesterday while flipping thru CNA:

And here's what the movies is about:
"Shafiq Rasul, Asif Iqbal and Ruhel Ahmed grew up in a typical British suburb. In August 2001, Asif traveled with his friends to Pakistan to get married. They took a side trip to Afghanistan to give aid with other volunteers, but got drawn into the US war on terror. The men were eventually taken into US custody at Guantnamo Bay in Cuba. During their incarceration, all three are interrogated, tortured, and accused of countless offences. After over two years at Guantnamo, the Tipton Three are taken back to England, and interrogated in London by the Anti-Terrorist squad at Paddington Green station. The next day they are released without charge. "
It's only 95 minutes.
Garfield2 looks fun to watch too.
Now, i'm waiting for the movie on gymmnastics to come out.
